An unforgiving sun is choking the plants in my garden. Suddenly everything that was once lush & spilling over the edges of pots is now shrivelled & yellowing. I'm doing what I can but, in the meantime, hiding out in my room with books & movies & crushed icy watermelon seems a welcome change from normality.
